Voluntary Parent Contribution
Training Fee 2022-2023
The voluntary parental contribution is composed as follows
Contribution to lockers and use of media library € 15,-
General school costs (such as copying costs, additional accident insurance for students and a contribution to the parent council) € 20,-
Various activities € 40
Extra educational programs
Physical education as an exam subject
(costs include extra sports facilities, participation in workshops and extra materials) € 30,-
Drawing as an exam subject
(Costs include extra materials) € 40,-
Bilingual education
(Costs for extra English lessons, participation in Cambridge and IB exams and special TTO activities such as Phileas Fogg)
Year 1, 2 and 3 € 200,-
Year 4, 5 and 6 € 150,-
For participation in the various exchanges and trips that we organize, we will always let you know in time what costs are involved.
For activities and trips that we organize, we apply the condition that there must be sufficient paying participants so that the financial risks are limited to an acceptable level.
Explanation of education costs
The parental contribution in all cases mentioned below is voluntary. Failure to pay the voluntary parental contribution does not result in excluding students from participating in activities.
A school of SILFO reserves the right to cancel an activity if there are too few participants. The program director may set a maximum regarding the number of students participating in an activity.
A General
- The contribution to the parent council: with this, the parent council organizes various activities;
- accident insurance;
- additional care for pupils: with this contribution additional care costs for pupils are paid, which cannot be met with the regular care money;
- extra copying costs.
B Facility matters
- the media library use (student pass, loans and computer use, basic volume printer and copying);
- the locker;
- access to the Internet portal for you and your child.
C Activities and Field Trips
This package includes all extracurricular activities and events. Field trips are optional and are not part of this package.
D Education related package
An additional fee is charged for certain educational activities. Examples include bilingual education and the final examination subjects of drawing and physical education2. These are specific forms of education offered in addition to the general school programs.
Payment of costs
If you would like to purchase the package paid for with the parental contribution, but are unable to pay the costs, you can contact:

If necessary, you can also contact the program management. Alternative payment arrangements can be discussed.
Method of payment
You can pay the contribution by direct debit or pay the amount yourself. If you wish to pay yourself, you must pay half of the amount by November 30, 2022 and the other half by March 31, 2023.
For bilingual education, you can pay the amount in four equal installments, namely by November 30, 2022, January 31, 2023, March 31, 2023 and May 31, 2023
Damage
The school is not liable for damage to clothing, scooters, bicycles, bags, books, learning materials or any other belongings. The school is also not liable for theft or loss of your own belongings. Damage caused by your child to or in the school will be repaired at your or your child’s expense.
